This is the Gillian Cup from Tongham School, and it is inscribed with the winners from 1954 to 1962: Rome, Sparta and Athens. It is one of the trophies which are on display in the museum.

There are several other trophies from Tongham School in the museum collection. These are the Tongham School House Jubilee Shield inscribed with the winners from 1936 to 1962 - Corinth, Rome, Sparta and Athens; the Osborne Cup inscribed with the winners from 1954 to 1962; the Henley Goblet inscribed with the winners from 1954 to 1962; the Caesar Goblet inscribed with the winners from 1954 to 1962; the Football Cup inscribed with the winners from 1955/6 to 1957/8; and the Tongham Carnival Cup 1969.
