Remembered in Ash Cemetery Section B on the gravestone of William Reade who died in 1920. Inscription reads “Also in loving memory of Henry George Sheerman, died in France Nov 28th 1917, Thy will be done.”

Henry Sheerman was the son of Henry and Emily Sheerman. The 1911 census records that Henry Sheerman was a baker, living with his parents in 1 Lauriston Villas, Holly Road Aldershot. His father was also a baker.

Henry married Marjorie Stent in 1916. The Commonwealth War Graves Commission records that his wife Marjorie Sheerman lived at 75 Holly Road, Aldershot.
