Do you remember Joe Ellis the Chemist in Shawfield Road?

We have four of his medicine bottles on display in the museum. (ref 316/1-3 and 320). The two green glass hexagonal bottles contained "surgical sprit" and "liniment". The large clear glass bottle was marked "quinine" and the small one contained a "Strong solution of peppermint".
